Happy Valentine's YEAR

Happy Valentine's YEAR

Why celebrate love just one day of the year? Yes, I think it's wonderful that there is one day to celebrate Valentine's Day, the holiday when lovers express their affection with greetings and gifts. Also called St. Valentine's Day, the holiday has expanded to express affection between relatives and friends. Why not expand this to a year-round endeavor? (Maybe not the gifts part.....although that's appealing for sure!) Why not acknowledge that there are many people we work with daily that we have great affection for too? Obviously it's a different kind of love, but it's love nevertheless. And boy, do we need more of that these days!

Some say we hurt the ones we love the most: sadly, this is sometimes displayed in the real estate profession rather boldly with the excuse that it's 'simply business'. While we may not wish to express our affection for those we work with - at least not daily - maybe we would all be much better off if through our words and actions we paused for a split second to assess whether those words and actions were in keeping with the affection we have for one another.

Expressing love and affection is wonderful......demonstrating it through our words and deeds and actions - consistently - is truly divine!

Have a LOVABLE Monday!

❤️ SPREAD LOVE ❤️
